The Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling, Inc. (FCCG) was established in 1988 as a 501(c)(3) corporation. The Council is an educational and advocacy organization working under contract with State government, providing statewide confidential supports via its 24-hour Problem Gambling HelpLine (888-ADMIT-IT), and public awareness, education, prevention, training and resource development services. The Council is gaming neutral, taking no position either for or against legalized gambling.

 
  To increase awareness to the public, on all levels, regarding risks and impacts associated with gambling, and in particular, problem and compulsive gambling.

To provide assistance to problem gamblers, their families and others negatively impacted by the gambling.

To identify and advocate for programs, services and funding supports in response to issues and needs of the problem and compulsive gambling population.
 

 

The Council's dedicated staff is prepared to assist whether you are an individual in search of help as a result of a gambling problem, a professional seeking guidance or information regarding research, training for treatment providers, or educational and prevention programming.

The Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors who bring expertise in the areas of gambling and problem gambling including, legal and financial issues, education for professionals, and expertise in treatment and research.
